life is like a claw machine
life is like a claw machine
Today, I was at a shop and I noticed they had a claw machine with cute stuffed animals in the back. So naturally I walked over and looked at it, there were a few different options, I chose $3.20 for 3 plays. I didn't win anything so I came up with the idea for this blog post. Life is comparable to a claw machine, it is basically gambling. I don't know if this will really make sense but it's almost like a pay to win game. "Oh just give me this and you have a chance to get that".
my second thought: (kind of similar)
Force buying/pressure is also kind of similar to this same idea, right. Now I have a clothing brand so I know from a business perspective how awesome this is. Discounts are a huge opportunity to boost sales, for example if a shirt costs $10 to make and sells for $50 a $20 off discount is INSANE for the customer but still is a decent margin for the company.
my final thoughts:
I don't know it just seems like we are heading to a more "pay to win" and not free future and I don't know if that's a good thing.
